Nextremer is a coined word combining "Next" and "Extreme." Extreme means "cutting-edge" or "pushing to the limit," while Next means "creating what comes next." Standing still only leads to decline. Our name carries the belief that we will keep challenging ourselves without fear of failure, and keep creating what comes next.

When we founded the company in 2012, our main business was contract AI research and development. From there, through joint research with a range of companies and institutions, we developed our own dialogue engine and went on to expand into AI products, always choosing the path of continuous evolution. Our guiding principle since founding, “Let's be extreme. Let's create what's next and deliver it to society,” has remained an important compass at every phase of our company's journey. Around 2000, when I was a student, the theoretical foundations of the machine learning used today already existed, but limits in data and processing power kept it from being practical. Since then, technological innovation has moved at a dizzying pace, and today the accumulation of big data, the advancement of machine learning, and the improvement of machine processing power have made data-driven processing practical. We now live in an age where data creates new value and further expands human potential. Going forward, the fusion of software and hardware will only accelerate. In an era of constant change, some things remain the same. It is always a person's conviction that opens a new path. One person's conviction moves many others, sparking new movements and technological progress. Through our own experience, we have learned that no matter what difficulties arise, acting with conviction and pushing to the extreme is what opens the way forward. Nextremer will continue to hold onto the spirit of “Let's be extreme. Let's create what's next and deliver it to society,” and by continuing to provide products and services that create value from data, we will keep expanding the potential of people, and of society.
